Hyderabad: The $2 billion Amara Raja Group has announced the appointment of Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari as its new Group Chief Human Resources Officer (Group CHRO).
The appointment marks a key leadership transition as the group continues to strengthen its people-first culture and long-term growth strategy.
Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari succeeds Jaikrishna B, who is set to superannuate after more than two decades of leading the HR function at the group.
In her new role, Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari will lead the Group HR function, focusing on strategic people initiatives and reinforcing Amara Raja’s values-driven organisational culture.

Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari to Lead Group HR Strategy at Amara Raja
With nearly 30 years of experience in human resources leadership, Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari brings deep expertise across multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy, Technology, Hospitality, Financial Services, and Shared Services.
Prior to joining Amara Raja Group, she served as Executive Vice President and Country Head – People & Organisation, and Diversity Officer at Siemens Limited.

He noted that Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari’s experience in shaping HR strategies for large global organisations will play a critical role as the group expands into new businesses and geographies.
